Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, schedule, and complete tasks to meet service and delivery schedules.
  2. Assist management with supervision and instruction of aircraft technicians, ensuring proper procedures and techniques are followed.
  3. Assess strengths and weaknesses of subordinates, providing guidance and growth opportunities to reinforce developmental areas.
  4. Ensure all required components are ordered for timely availability, sending items out for rework or repair as needed.
  5. Maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes, Customer Bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, and other procedures and publications related to aircraft maintenance and servicing.
  6. Perform required periodic maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, demonstrating the ability to consistently perform assigned maintenance tasks within quoted or standard CMP time.
  7. Perform post and pre-flight inspections, troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions such as fluid leaks and minor structural damage.
  8. Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment, such as power supply, hydraulic rig, nitrogen filler cart, and oxygen service cart.
  9. Assist in maintaining work schedules and updating of CMP cards, reviewing work to ensure compliance with Gulfstream Repair Station procedures and FAA Airworthiness Standards.
  10. Review daily job charging to ensure accuracy of charges to aircraft.
Requirements
  1. Advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance, including aircraft component removal and installation, flight control rigging, engine removal, installation, rigging, schedule and unscheduled inspections, and major or minor sheetmetal/structural repairs or alterations.
  2. Advanced working knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials, including maintenance manuals, IPCs, and structural repair manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, etc.
  3. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
