Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider with a reputation for excellence in cardiovascular care. We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist.

Job Summary
  • Prepare and operate cardiac imaging equipment in a sterile environment.
  • Assess patient conditions and provide patient care according to established protocols.
  • Maintain strong relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new staff and students, providing guidance and support in the orientation process.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and operation of cardiac imaging equipment, including angiography and echocardiography units.
  • Patient assessment and care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
  • Maintenance of a sterile environment, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Current registration as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of experience working in a cath lab or related field preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
