Job Summary

Generis Tek Inc is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with MRI systems. You will be responsible for the proper use of RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, and proper completion of exams). Additionally, you will be responsible for all other equipment used in MR, including monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment, and any other devices/equipment used in MRI.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment
  • Responsible for the proper use of RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, and proper completion of exams)
  • Responsible for all other equipment used in MR, including monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment, and any other devices/equipment used in MRI
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm in performing and accepting work assignments
  • Assess situations, consider alternatives, and choose an appropriate course of action
  • Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiology School
  • Previous experience in an out-patient MRI role desirable
  • ONE of the following within 6 months of hire date: American Registration of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (MR) certification OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
  • Current CPR certification or must obtain during orientation period
