The Nuclear Projects and Consulting division is seeking an HVAC Engineer to ensure that client objectives are met within specified timelines and budget constraints in the realm of nuclear operations and engineering. This role may involve travel and will be based in a dynamic work environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 20 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels
  • Degree in Engineering
  • Proven experience in HVAC engineering
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; dual citizenship or visa holders are not eligible for this position

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NQA-1 standards
  • Possession of a Q clearance or eligibility to obtain one
  • Prior experience collaborating with subcontractors for consolidated design efforts
  • Experience with DOE Nuclear projects
  • Current or former U.S. security clearance
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Master's degree in engineering is advantageous
  • Residing within a reasonable commuting distance is preferred

Work Environment:

Utilize standard office equipment and specialized design software as provided.

Attendance Requirements:

Mandatory on-site security training is required prior to commencing project responsibilities. Prompt resolution of issues is expected.

Travel may be necessary as required.

Additional Essential Functions:

U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.

A valid driver's license is necessary. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting is essential.

Professional conduct that fosters productivity and teamwork is expected.

Appropriate grooming and attire are required to ensure safety and professionalism.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
