Position Overview
The Critical Care Registered Nurse plays a vital role within the Nursing Department, ensuring high-quality care for patients in critical condition. This professional is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, demonstrating independent judgment and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Develop and execute individualized care plans based on established clinical pathways, collaborating with team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and delegate nursing tasks to ensure comprehensive care delivery tailored to patient needs.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary, and preparing patients for discharge.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Completion of accredited nursing program with less than 2 years of experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, CPR, RN, CCRN preferred, and NIHSS.
