About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our team at WSP USA. As a key member of our infrastructure planning group, you will be responsible for designing and developing water infrastructure systems that meet the needs of our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop water infrastructure systems, including stormwater management systems, water supply systems, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Conduct site investigations and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in water infrastructure design and planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in water infrastructure design and planning.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Strong understanding of water infrastructure design principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with water infrastructure design software, such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of water quality and treatment processes.
  • Experience with project management and coordination.
