Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty/Part-time Instructor to join our Anthropology Department at Black Hawk College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching anthropology courses and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, discussions, and presentations to enhance student learning
  • Prepare and maintain course materials, including syllabi and instructional resources
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
  • M.A. or M.S. in anthropology required, with academic preparation to instruct anthropology
  • Successful college-level teaching experience preferred
  • Demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction
