Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise shop personnel and manage their activities.
- Plan and organize production schedules while overseeing the manufacturing workflow.
- Monitor production methods and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Delegate tasks to shop staff effectively.
- Collaborate with management to implement organizational policies and objectives.
- Stay informed about safety protocols and best practices.
- Ensure the accuracy of material bills and modify work orders based on actual usage.
- Review completed work to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Select and maintain equipment, oversee product quality, and enforce quality control measures.
- Maintain a clean, organized shop environment free from hazardous materials.
- Manage inventory levels efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of MRP systems is preferred.
