Mechanical Engineer I

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer I to join our team at Logistic Services Int. as a key member of our design and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, as well as executing projects from conception to completion.

• Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical systems, including mechanical components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
• Project Execution: Execute projects from conception to completion, including planning, coordination, and implementation.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, and development.
• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Knowledge of ASME Y1 & Yl drawings, Product Data Management (PDM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and fabrication and assembly processes.

• Industry and Military Specifications: Knowledge of industry and military specifications for materials, parts, and processes.
• Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance, if required by the contract.
