MPI Estimator

McWane Plant & Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Your primary focus will be on reviewing incoming plans, drawings, and specifications to identify opportunities and producing precise, accurate quotations for MPI.

• Review and interpret specifications to provide accurate quotes
• Takeoff of available products to create a comprehensive product opportunity
• Creation of quotes and communication with Regional Sales Managers and reps
• Collaboration with 3rd party vendors to obtain actuation costs for producing valve quotes
• Effective communication with painting vendors and accessory vendors

• Associates degree in a business, engineering, estimation, or equivalent industry experience
• Project management experience and project management software skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple projects with attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Mechanical aptitude or engineering background
• Must be a team player

• Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Previous estimating experience in the wastewater industry
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tools
• Experience with legal contracts and interface with legal teams
