We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize incoming patients, providing timely and effective care
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients as needed
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (ASN) from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- Compact license accepted; BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Current BLS- Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting, one year ED experience required
- CEN and/or CPEN preferred; PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date; TNCC/ENPC required within 18 months
