Ranch Hand

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for assisting in the general maintenance of our feedlot, pasture fence, buildings, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance of feedlot, pasture fence, buildings, and equipment
• Work with a few sheep, ewes, and lambs in rotational grazing operations
• Operate equipment for feeding and cleaning pens in the feedlot using a tele handler or skid steer
• Assist in general maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of equipment and facilities

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with livestock, preferably in a feedlot or ranch setting
