Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at VCC: The Gary Center - La Habra. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Dentists and Hygienists in providing patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures, taking and developing x-rays, and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment by sterilizing equipment, disposing of waste, and keeping the treatment area clean and organized.
  • Communicate Effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Operate Dental Equipment such as x-ray machines, ultrasonic equipment, and laboratory equipment.
  • Assist with Administrative Tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and performing other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with post-high school vocational or specialized training in dental assisting.
  • Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working as a dental assistant in a high-volume dental practice.
  • Knowledge of Dental Procedures and ability to assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
