We are currently seeking an experienced:

REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN)

Full Time, Days

Job Description:

  • Supervises the nursing staff to ensure the best patient care possible during the shift.
  • Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
  • Supervises nursing services for the facility during the shift in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervises and assists nurses with patients during acute episodes.
  • Deals with employee problems on a timely basis and documents actions.
  • Assumes on-call responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Provide quality-nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
