Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef in meal preparation, menu implementation, and food management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume Executive Chef duties during their absence.
  • Contribute to menu design and development.
  • Maintain inventory levels in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Ensure proper food ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Prepare kitchen schedules to guarantee adequate management presence during shifts.
  • Conduct inspections of food storage and service areas to meet safety and sanitation standards.
  • Keep updated standard operating procedures, including food preparation and safety protocols.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate analytical data to support budgeting and planning.
  • Participate in required departmental meetings.
  • Oversee team members in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards.
  • Prepare and serve meals during peak times and special events.
Supervisory Duties:

Responsible for managing kitchen staff in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
