The Seeker is a dynamic and innovative restaurant located in the heart of the city. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Line Cook who is passionate about delivering exceptional food quality and service. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards.
  • Work closely with the senior chef to ensure that orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cleaning and cutting ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, and snacks.
  • Plating prepared foods to the highest standards.
  • Work with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to requests on time and in full.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking, labeling, and dating.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
