About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at TMC. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans to address patients' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
  • Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities to enhance their physical function and promote recovery.
  • Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities and monitor patient responses to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment interventions and document their progress, communicating regularly with the supervising physical therapist.
Requirements
  • Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
