Ecolab, a leading provider of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance solutions, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and safety checks on equipment and facilities to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Make repairs and modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through our work order system.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical systems, electronic and PLC-based applications to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse supervision to ensure safe and efficient repairs to equipment.
  • Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure accurate data recording.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems, electronic and PLC-based applications.
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, and/or boiler operations.
  • Able to work in difficult situations such as confined spaces, heat, and heights.
  • Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging.
  • Experience in a Lean Environment.
