About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our guests, ensuring that every meal is a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, using standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure that all food stations are stocked and prepared for the shift, and that mise en place is completed for respective stations.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stoves, dishwashers, and chef's knives.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a Line Cook in a similar property or culinary school preferred.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food storage requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
What We Offer

Competitive hourly wage of $23-$26, depending on experience.
