Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Aide to join our team at OneSource ARTS. As a Direct Care Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals in all aspects of daily living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, health care, and socialization.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote client independence and well-being.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and care provided.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with certification and training in personal caregiving.
- CPR and First Aid (adult) training required.
- Certification as a Medication Aide with registration through the Virginia Board of Nursing preferred.
- At least one year of professional adult caregiving experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and social perceptiveness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Virginia Driver's License with good driving record.
