Key Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in assisting Physical Therapists with patient care. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing exercise instructions and therapeutic interventions such as electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, ultrasound, and gait and balance training.
  • Documenting patient progress and treatment responses, reporting outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • An Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • A valid license to practice in the State of Florida
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Compensation:
The pay rate for this role is $38.00 per hour, with expected working hours ranging from 36 to 40 hours per week.
