Medication Aide Travel Position - Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Trilogy Health Services, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents by safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications. You will also maintain accurate records, verify medication intake from newly admitted residents, and participate in daily nursing reports. Your role will involve assisting residents with personal care needs, observing changes in their condition, and making informed decisions when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Safely prepare, administer, and document medications
  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
  • Verify medication intake from newly admitted residents
  • Participate in daily nursing reports and electronic documentation
  • Assist residents with personal care needs
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition
Requirements

To be considered for this Medication Aide travel position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Active and in good-standing Nurse Aide certification
  • Active and in good-standing Medication Aide certification (QMA, KMA MA-C)
  • Every other weekend and holiday work availability
  • At least one year's experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
