Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer at Fuse, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our fusion energy products. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of a game-changing product.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems for our fusion energy products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements and specifications
- Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements
- Run FEA and verify results with hand calculations
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' experience with SolidWorks and CAD modeling
- Demonstrated experience working on a team and achieving a common goal
- Ability to create detailed engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and reports
- 1+ years experience running FEA and verifying with hand calculations
- Design for manufacturing experience
- Experience in data management
- Must be able to travel and work extended hours/weekends as needed
