Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Production Line Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process product using tools, manual labor, and equipment provided in accordance with USDA and Pilgrim's Company product standards and procedures.
  • Observe equipment operation and notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and organized work area.
  • Assist others with the skills and knowledge gained from the position.
  • Adhere to all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
  • Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks, consistently practicing and enforcing safe work habits.
  • Participate in process improvement and problem-solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies.
  • Follow all company animal welfare guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense.
  • Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees) and stand for 8-11 hours per day.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly, with good hand and eye coordination.
  • Must be a team player and have good communication skills.
