Adhere strictly to all operational guidelines and safety regulations, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
Inspect machine controls to facilitate plate changeovers and initiate machinery for production requirements as necessary.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance assessments on all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Repair fundamental mechanical components and replace parts on machinery, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
Monitor and listen to mechanical devices during operation to identify the source of issues.
Disassemble devices to access and extract faulty components.
Adjust functional elements of devices and control instruments as needed.
Examine used components to determine necessary dimensional adjustments.
Lubricate and maintain machinery and auxiliary equipment to uphold cleanliness and preventive maintenance standards within the facility.
Document and monitor changeover durations and maintain records.
Complete all work orders to ensure safety, minimize downtime, reduce waste, enhance production quality, and improve operational efficiency.
Comply with all safety protocols, including the Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards, while observing operations to guarantee a secure work environment.
Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proficient in resolving practical issues and managing a range of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Capable of interpreting various instructions provided in written, oral, and diagrammatic formats.
To excel in this role, an individual must effectively perform each essential duty. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for satisfactory performance. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting; or a comparable combination of training and experience.
Experience in tooling and repairs is highly desirable.
Familiarity with injection molding machinery is strongly preferred.
Ability to interpret documents such as procedural manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including ammeters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges.
Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics.

Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

Basic mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with decimals and fractions.
