Permanent Histotech Position in Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a skilled Histotechnician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a Histotech, you will be responsible for preparing frozen sections, assisting in gross specimen examination, and cutting, mounting, and staining tissue sections for microscopic examination by a pathologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accomplish accessioning of specimens
  • Prepare frozen sections for microscopic examination
  • Assist in gross specimen examination
  • Prepare fixed tissue specimens for staining
  • Cut, mount, and stain tissue sections for microscopic examination
Requirements:
  • HT or HTL ASCP certification or eligibility
  • Experience with Embedding and Microtomy
  • 1+ years of histology experience preferred
