Chemical Reaction Specialist

This position involves facilitating chemical reactions for the API and flavor and fragrance industries. The successful candidate will produce APIs and directly make chemicals related to vaccines and other API ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with glassware and other small-scale systems to produce products
  • Moving carts of chemicals and packaging into reactors (50lb lifting requirement)
  • Working with reaction chambers, distillation equipment (20L to 200L), and drying filters (50 gallons to 1500 gallons)

Requirements:

  • Chemistry knowledge
  • Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing facility
  • Physical stamina for 50lb lifting

Work Environment:

This position is on 3rd shift but may train on 1st shift. The work environment is within a chemical manufacturing facility with a light smell of chemicals.
