Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our medication management services.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Fills prescription orders and verifies medication stock under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills

• Active and Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Wisconsin
• 6+ months of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
• Access to reliable transportation
