About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Orthotic Fitter to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As an Orthotic Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring that medical devices, such as prosthetic limbs and orthotics, are fitted and adjusted to meet the specific needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fit and adjust medical devices to ensure proper fit and function
  • Monitor patients over time and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal device performance
  • Obtain patient demographic and clinical information, verify insurance, and collect deductibles and co-pays as applicable

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree of manual dexterity and ability to closely follow detailed instructions
  • Must be certified Orthotic Fitter
  • Minimum one year of experience in a related field
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and electronic
  • Ability to operate complex machinery
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry
  • Ability to retain professional certification
  • Ability to use computers, mobile devices, applications, and software, including Microsoft Office 365 and the company's Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
