We are in search of a skilled diagnostic radiologist, ideally with specialized training in Interventional Radiology, to become part of a reputable hospital-based private practice.
About the Practice:
Mountain Empire Radiology is a thriving and innovative group situated in the northeast region of Tennessee. This collaborative practice consists of 25 diagnostic and interventional radiologists who provide services across various hospital facilities managed by the Ballad Healthcare System. The primary facility is a comprehensive 400-bed medical center recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Stroke Center of Excellence.
Additionally, the practice encompasses a dedicated pediatric facility, enhancing the scope of care provided. The group also extends its services to six other acute care hospitals across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Long-standing Partnerships:
With a solid history of over 40 years, the practice maintains exclusive and stable contractual agreements with its institutional partners, ensuring a reliable work environment for its members.
Compensation and Benefits:

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess board certification or eligibility and be capable of obtaining the necessary licenses. Proficiency in a full range of interventional services is required, including oncology, GI/Biliary, urological procedures, and vascular cases. Candidates should also be prepared to perform or train in stroke thrombectomy, with internal training provided. Diagnostic call is not required, and IR call is limited to one location with a 1:3 rotation, ensuring equitable coverage among partners and associates.
