A TYPICAL DAY

In the role of a line cook, your primary duties will include grilling and preparing a variety of meats. You will ensure that our selection of steak and chicken is always fresh and ready for our patrons. Responsibilities also include maintaining a tidy and organized grilling station, with proper storage and labeling of all food items. You will keep track of food inventory and inform management when supplies are low. It is essential to cook all food items to the correct temperature and serve them promptly. Adherence to all food safety and sanitation protocols is crucial, including the proper handling and storage of raw meats and other ingredients. You may also assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks in the kitchen as required. Additional duties may be assigned to support the overall operation of the restaurant.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
• A valid driver's license is necessary
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires individuals to have the ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively. The role involves ascending and descending stairs, sitting and standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and performing bending, stooping, and kneeling tasks. You may be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Extended periods of computer use may be necessary, including screen viewing, mouse manipulation, keyboard usage, and reaching with arms. Travel for business purposes may also be required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential. Employees must report to work alert and free from any sedatives that could impair job performance. Disclosure of any medications that may affect job capabilities is required. Regular stressors are a part of the job.
