As a Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee the nursing operations for residents under your care, ensuring the highest standards of medical and personal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established medical and nursing protocols.
- Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of resident conditions and respond effectively using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain seamless communication and optimal care for residents.
- Ensure accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in resident conditions.
- Address urgent situations involving resident safety and report incidents as per facility guidelines.
- Administer medications and treatments in a timely and precise manner.
- Keep physicians informed of any significant changes in resident health status.
Position Requirements:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a related field.
