Position Overview:

The CT Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position involves executing CT scans in accordance with physician directives, ensuring timely and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols to guarantee diagnostic accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Radiology team to maintain a safe and effective patient care environment.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for scheduled imaging procedures.
  • Conduct routine quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior CT technologists on procedure protocols.
  • Stay updated with continuing education requirements and maintain necessary certifications.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited radiology program.
  • Valid state certification and ARRT general certification within the required timeframe.
  • ARRT CT certification is mandatory within the specified period post-hire.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in a hospital setting as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist is preferred.

Work Environment:

The position is primarily based in a controlled, air-conditioned environment, with minimal exposure to hazardous materials. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
