Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at BlueWave Solutions. As a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing computer systems and networks for potential security threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigation of security threats and detection of vulnerabilities
• Responsibility for analyzing, reviewing, and processing security threats to identify risks and impacts
• Working with a SIEM system and continuously improving and optimizing it
• Processing information on security threats and taking subsequent action to support data and business protection
• Documenting results and presenting them to management or other security teams within the company

Requirements

• Completed degree in IT or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge in the field of networking and infrastructure, ideally in the IT security environment
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work on-site in Düsseldorf in a 24/7 shift operation
• Strong conceptual and process-oriented approach, as well as excellent communication skills
• Quick understanding and a willingness to learn and understand new things
