Job Overview

Road Ranger LLC, a prominent multi-state Travel Center organization, is looking to enhance its Fleet Sales Department by hiring a proactive and enthusiastic Field Sales Representative.

The Field Sales Representative will be tasked with reaching out to and engaging potential Fleet clients within the designated market area. This role primarily involves outside sales activities, requiring the individual to be comfortable with extensive travel and making cold calls to prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily outreach to potential customers through cold calling.
  • Market and promote the Company's Fleet program across the assigned territory to attract, retain, and expand fleet sales.
  • Follow up with clients to secure contracts and provide necessary information.
  • Support existing clientele with their needs and inquiries.
  • Handle customer calls, resolve issues, and escalate to appropriate departments as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate customer information in databases.
  • Foster a culture of customer satisfaction among both new and existing fleet clients.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of departmental reports.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, ideally in a business-to-business context.
Essential Skills
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly for business purposes.
  • Fluency in a second language may be advantageous depending on the market area.
  • Strong skills in relationship building and business development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and active listening skills.
  • High energy, resilience, and resourcefulness.
  • Proficient in database management and Excel, including pivot tables.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to think critically, evaluate options, seek guidance, make informed recommendations, and take decisive action.
