Facilities Maintenance and Operations Specialist

As a Building Engineer at Lincoln Property Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial properties. This position involves maintaining and repairing various building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment for our tenants and employees.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment testing and preventative maintenance, to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Respond to emergency calls after hours as directed, demonstrating your ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in high-stress situations.
- Work closely with other Engineers and department heads to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Promote and maintain safe work practices, focusing on overall safety and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Become familiar with tenant needs and expectations, building strong relationships to provide exceptional service and support.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with 3-4 years of progressively responsible related experience in a commercial property setting.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, from tenants to department heads.
- The ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
