We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable automotive parts specialist to enhance our dealership operations. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in a dealership warehouse environment, demonstrating reliability and professionalism in managing parts inventory. This role requires not only proficiency in ordering and tracking parts but also exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess customer needs and accurately identify required parts
  • Generate and adjust purchase orders as necessary
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure parts efficiently
  • Document warranty returns for parts
  • Input special orders into the dealership's computer system and inform relevant personnel upon arrival
  • Monitor the status of special order parts
  • Manage and finalize outstanding invoices
  • Verify received merchandise against purchase orders for accuracy
  • Maintain records of external purchases and parts transactions
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of warehouse parts
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a dealership warehouse setting. Candidates with a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
