Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Parkland Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and treating patients to restore maximum reasonable function and minimize disability following disease, injury, or genetically acquired disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement and document physical therapy interventions, including conventional treatments and critical thinking skills
  • Provide patient and family education on physical therapy goals, treatment plans, and precautions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and discharge planning
Requirements:
  • Current state Physical Therapy license
  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • At least one year of clinical experience in acute care preferred
