Key Responsibilities:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will perform essential personal care tasks that support clients in their daily living activities. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Helping with mobility and transfers.
  • Providing dressing and shaving assistance.
  • Preparing meals and snacks as per client instructions.

  • Assisting with prescribed exercises for mobility.
  • Monitoring blood glucose levels.
  • Caring for clients who are bed-bound.
  • Providing incontinence care.
  • Utilizing lifting equipment, such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts.
  • Background in personal care services.
  • Knowledge of range of motion exercises.
  • Familiarity with Foley care.
  • Skills in providing companionship.
  • Ability to perform light cleaning tasks.
