Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a skilled Catholic Priest to provide spiritual care and support to Catholic patients and their families. As a Spiritual Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and personalized care, ensuring that patients have opportunities for free exercise of religion and are protected from proselytizing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Roman Catholic religious ministry to patients, including Communion and other sacraments.
  • Offer general pastoral care, including Mass services and emergency call-backs for the Sacrament of Anointing the Sick.
  • Visit patients who desire spiritual support, adhering to Infectious Disease protocols and hospital policies.
  • Provide Sacrament of Anointing the sick for seriously and terminally ill patients outside of normal hours.
  • Offer pastoral care and support to patients and their families as needed.
  • Conduct Catholic Mass and Services of the Word when the full-time Catholic Priest is unavailable.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with institution staff and ensure that patients' rights are respected.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship.
  • Master of Divinity degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Priest, with a list of relevant experience provided.
  • Hospital chaplain experience is preferred.
