At SSM Health, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' abilities to perform independent living skills and design personalized plans of care.
  • Implement treatment plans using various modalities and document patient progress.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers about their deficits and provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Oversee the care provided by designated individuals and ensure compliance with regulations and practice standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • No prior experience required.

Physical Demands:

  • Constant standing and frequent walking, reaching, and keyboard use.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

Professional Licenses and Certifications:

  • Occupational Therapist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Occupational Therapist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Occupational Therapist - Oklahoma Medical Board
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services

Work Schedule:

PRN / Per Diem Shift (United States of America)
