Job Summary

Become part of a dynamic team at UNC Health, where our mission is to improve the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our MPS Care Clinic team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with mucopolysaccharidosis, a rare genetic disorder.
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated clinical team to deliver innovative care in the outpatient setting.
  • Support patient care in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of relevant and current experience in pediatric nursing.

This is a Per Diem position, with a standard hours per week of 6.00. The salary range is $31.52 - $44.56 per hour (Hiring Range), with pay offers determined by experience and internal equity.
