Job Summary: Western Engineering Contractors Inc. is seeking a qualified Foreman for our Underground Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating grading construction crews on projects consisting of major site work and miscellaneous other construction work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate personnel, trucking, material suppliers, and safety.
  • Supervise and work with grading construction crews.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Underground Foreman.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Effective leader with vital goal-setting, planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate potential situations, and provide practical solutions to conflicts.
  • Knowledge of equipment and ability to read stakes.
  • Familiarity with local site conditions, agency standards, local vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and First Aid skills.
