About the Position

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide education to patients, caregivers, and family members.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Assess patient home and work environments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications
  • Develop and implement physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills and abilities
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on proper care and techniques
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest treatment practices and technologies

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited university
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification
  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a home health setting
  • Strong observation, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills
