Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Market Cashier to join our team at Caesars Entertainment. As a Market Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment mechanisms.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with training new employees and provide support to colleagues as needed.
- Respond calmly and make rational decisions in situations involving guest and employee conflicts.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Physically strong, able to lift 25 pounds, and possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Working Conditions:
This position is located in a cigarette-smoke environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in a smoke-filled environment.
