We are seeking an experienced School-Based Occupational Therapist to work with our team at Soliant.
Salary:$45-65 per hour, guaranteed hours available
About the RoleThis is a full-time, onsite position working with PreK students in Johnston, RI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience and be licensed to practice in the state of RI.
Key Responsibilities- Assess students' occupational performance and develop tailored therapy plans to support their growth and development.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Engage with families to discuss progress and provide home support strategies to promote consistency and continuity.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to collaborate with educators and other professionals.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state of Rhode Island.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
