Community Health Network is seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our surgical care team in Kokomo, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care postoperatively, assessing and managing postoperative pain, and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform direct patient care postoperatively as part of a surgical care team
- Assess and document postoperative pain
- Assess airway adequacy and intervene quickly and appropriately when necessary
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of all phases of recovery nursing principles and expectations
- Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited school of nursing
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification within one year of employment
- 2 years of experience for a prn position
