Job Overview

As a Machine Operator 2nd Shift, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficient operation of our machines, including operating fillers, performing wash cycles, and managing tie-ins to silos.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous Operation: Reload paper cartons/bottles and juices, change silos, and obtain necessary packaging materials.
  • CIP and Wash Cycles: Ensure machines, including silos and fillers, are clean and ready for the next run.
  • Production Monitoring: Follow the production schedule, complete efficiency paperwork, and check for leaks.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately complete all production paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product compliance with specifications and perform routine quality checks.
  • Machine Adjustments: Adjust machinery for optimal production and perform routine maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules, maintaining a clean work area.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and timely completion of work.
  • Adaptability: Able to handle frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, and react well under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting tools and materials.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School diploma or equivalent; OR
  • Relevant Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience; OR
  • Equivalent Combination: Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged Standing: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting tools and materials.
  • Ability to Bend: Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stretch.
  • Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
