Job Title: Permanent - Certified Surgical Tech

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our team at a Level III trauma center with 5 state-of-the-art surgical suites. Our hospital offers a wide range of surgical services, including Robotics, General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, and Trauma.

Job Summary:

The Certified Surgical Tech will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
  • Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologist (AST)
  • Colorado DORA Surgical Tech License or in process
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • 1 year experience preferred
