We are committed to fostering a forward-thinking environment and are in search of a dynamic, self-driven professional to join our team as a FINANCIAL INVESTMENT ANALYST. This role will collaborate closely with the investment management team to facilitate trade settlements, uphold investment plan adherence, evaluate securities, assist the Chief Investment Officer directly, and generate various reports as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance or equivalent investment experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
  • Willingness to pursue advanced education and/or industry certifications, such as CFA.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for investments, economics, and capital markets.
  • Proficiency in VBA coding is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • The selected candidate must obtain the Series 65 license within 90 days of employment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely trade settlements.
  • Assist with broker/dealer documentation and new client onboarding paperwork.
  • Support regular cash reconciliation processes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of each client's unique investment strategies and portfolio assets.
  • Help prepare investment reporting presentations for clients, providing them with current insights on performance, investment strategies, and specific portfolio issues.
  • Formulate and uphold detailed portfolio plans, performance forecasts, and risk management approaches.
  • Review research reports, contribute insights, and monitor various credits across multiple asset classes.
  • Engage regularly with Portfolio Managers and participate in investment discussions.
  • Assist in analyzing existing and prospective investments, utilizing external research and maintaining internal portfolio evaluation tools.
  • Support research and recommendations for investment strategies across various total return portfolios.
